Remy Tait

With over 15 years of experience on the A circuit, Remy is a dedicated and passionate horse trainer committed to excellence in every aspect of equine care and training. Growing up in a smaller barn community, Remy took on all her own grooming until her professional career began four years ago, fostering a meticulous attention to detail and personalized care for each horse.

During her junior years, Remy excelled in hunters, jumpers, and equitation, achieving success across all rings. Her deep love for the sport was solidified when she trained her first project pony, Reba, a rescue from the kill pen in Washington. This experience ignited her passion for working with young horses, leading her to be a pivotal part of numerous young horses' training journeys.

Remy holds a BA with honors in Equine Business Management from Emory and Henry College, where she was a member of the national champion IHSA team. Her education included specialized courses in nutrition, farrier science, and teaching techniques, equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of the equine industry. She also groomed for top-level hunter and jumper barns, gaining invaluable hands-on experience.

Upon graduation, Remy became an integral member of a prestigious hunter-jumper barn in Oregon. For four years, she honed her skills in teaching both horses and riders, continuing to compete in hunters and jumpers with both client and personal horses. Her clients have enjoyed success in all three rings, a testament to her effective training methods.

Now embarking on her own venture, Remy aims to provide exceptional care and training, treating each horse as an individual rather than a mere component of the industry. Her goal is to inspire riders to prioritize their horses' well-being while laying a solid foundation for riding and nurturing future champions.
